I had to do all of them in the following order to get it to work; uninstall/reinstall msdtc, set registry value to 7, delete everything from partner folder, kill Mediaplayer then run.

Use normal way to install server. install it on stand alone machine or you can use virtual machine..

Hi,
Am trying to install Server 8 here at Khuphulanani Training Institution,which it consist of four PC’s at Admin One at MD_office and one at Reception, and 12 Student PC’s. and two Shared printers.All using LAN.Should I use Vitual Machine or install it in a normal way.and what is the basic method of installing Server in such network.

So we’re forwarding web and https traffic to ports 8080 and 4443 on the front end server. It works. Question is what if we have 2 front servers in a pool. If the front end server that’s asa if forwarding traffic to goes down we’re not going to have Lync mobility and application sharing features. Is there a way to implement the redundancy ?

Everything works fine except one issue. When I open log files I see that logs a recorded on one long-long line if to open in Notepad++ or like a trash in Windows Notepad.
Like:
